About my rates . . .

Counseling and coaching are investments in your mental health, relationships, and your future. My goal is to help you gain the skills and confidence you need to see improvements in your situation as quickly as possible. Many clients experience the benefits of counseling or coaching after just a few sessions. Counseling can be short-term, but improved relationships with your children, partner, or ex can last forever.

I am sometimes asked why I don’t take insurance. Insurance companies only cover medically necessary services or treatment of mental health diagnoses and disorders. Coaching and mediation do not fall under these categories. And though counseling may be covered, my services are focused on strength-based treatments and are flexible to your goals and lifestyle. And frankly, your current struggles are not necessarily indicative of a mental health problem. If you and/or your relationships are not working to their full potential, you deserve the support and guidance without having to prove to an insurance company that it is warranted.

Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it might be possible for some services to be covered in full or in part. You may also be able to seek reimbursement through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or a Health Savings Account (HSA) for counseling. Please contact your provider for information on your coverage.

Many people decide to work with me because they feel I am the right fit for helping them reach their goals. After reviewing my specialties, if you decide that I might be someone you want to work with, I invite you to schedule a consult at no charge to further explore moving forward.

Initial Consult (15 min): No charge

Individual Counseling: Intake/Initial session*: $225/ Follow up Sessions at 50 min: $160/ 75 min: $240

Couples Counseling: Intake/Initial session*: $295/ Follow up Sessions at 50 min: $225/ 75 min: $325

Co-Parenting Coaching & Mediation: $425/90 minutes

Divorce Mediation $550/2 hours

Included in the session fee:

Sometimes issues or questions arise and waiting until our scheduled session seems too stressful. Therefore, active clients receive email/messaging support in between sessions. Clients may also schedule an additional 15 minute phone call in between meetings, included in the session fee. Session fees also include time spent reviewing client paperwork, gathering resources for clients, drafting session summaries, drafting parenting plans, or consulting with other providers at the request of the client.


Insurance companies dictate the frequency, manner, and style of therapy and I prefer to work more flexibly to meet your needs. Therefore, I do not accept insurance nor do I bill insurance directly. But if you have insurance benefits that will allow for direct reimbursement to you for out of network providers, I may be able to provide you with the appropriate documentation. Please verify with your insurance company if you have out of network benefits and what the reimbursement policy and percentages may be.

Online Mental Health Membership Services

Telehealth has always been my practice, and I’m grateful for the rise in membership based services for normalizing online therapy. While on the surface these services seem more affordable, part of the reason their services are priced lower is they might sell your mental health information to third parties. Although they claim they separate any identifying information from the mental health data, this is still an unacceptable practice to most clinicians. Read their privacy policy carefully before signing up. I will never disclose any of your information to anybody, let alone social media and advertising companies! If you like the appeal of a flat monthly membership and flexible access to your therapist, please schedule a consult to discuss this possibility with me. You could have the best of both worlds– complete confidentiality and a convenient monthly payment plan.

Cancellation Policy

As a client, you will have access to a direct scheduling tool that enables rescheduling/canceling at your convenience.  If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you reschedule or cancel at least 4 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a missed session fee. I understand emergencies happen, and I waive the fee if a missed session is rescheduled within a week of the original date.
